Key principle: Your recordings are yours. We never access them.

• Payment information: Handled by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store credit card numbers

• License verification data: License key, machine identifier (hashed), IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
• Update checks: Current Software version is queried against our update endpoint; no personally identifying information is sent

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your recordings: Stored only on your local device
• Conversation content: Never transmitted to us
• Audio data: Never uploaded to our servers
• Personal contacts: Not accessed
• Discord or other platform credentials: Not stored

We use collected information to:

• Verify license validity
• Enforce device limits
• Process payments

• Improve the Software

We do NOT sell your personal information.

We share information only with:

5.1 Storage Location

• License data: Stored in AES-256-GCM encrypted files on your device
• Account data: Stored by Lemon Squeezy in their secure infrastructure
• Server logs: Deleted after 90 days

5.2 Security Measures

• AES-256-GCM encryption for local license storage
• HTTPS/TLS 1.3 for all server communication
• Hashed machine identifiers (never stored in plain form)
• Limited employee access to systems containing user data

5.3 Data Retention

• Active accounts: Retained while subscription is active
• Cancelled accounts: Deleted after 90 days unless required by law
• Support emails: Retained for 1 year, then deleted

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

The Software is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover such collection, we will delete it immediately.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Our website (https://clipdeck.xyz) does not deploy general-purpose analytics, tag managers, or advertising trackers. The Software itself does not collect browsing or usage telemetry. The only outbound network requests made by the Software are license verification, update checks, and (for Pro subscribers) downloads of speech-to-text models.

The website may load standard third-party assets such as web fonts and CSS frameworks from public CDNs (Google Fonts, jsDelivr-style providers); these providers may receive your IP address and User-Agent solely as a function of HTTP delivery. No cookies or identifiers are set by us through these requests.

Affiliate referral cookie. When you arrive at our website through a Lemon Squeezy affiliate link, the Lemon Squeezy affiliate script (lmsqueezy.com/affiliate.js) records the referring affiliate identifier in a first-party cookie so the affiliate can be credited if you make a purchase. The cookie is necessary for the operation of the affiliate program, contains no personal information beyond the affiliate ID, and is governed by Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy. If you do not arrive via an affiliate link, no such cookie is set.

Destruction of personal information: Upon expiration of the retention period or achievement of purpose, personal information is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery; physical records (if any) are shredded or incinerated.

13. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of discovery where required by law (e.g., GDPR Article 33), and notify affected users without undue delay, consistent with applicable law and the guidance of relevant authorities.
